In this one hour masterclass HSBC will tell you all about this stage of the application, why it's there, what they look for and how you can best prepare. They’ll also run through example questions for you to try to answer and will tell you what they’re looking for and how you can best go about answering.

This masterclass will be led by Soraya (who you might have already met in our first masterclass of this series). Soraya will be delving into all things cognitive and strengths assessments - which tend to be a challenging part of any application process, especially if you've never come across these before and don't know what to expect. You'll gain valuable support and insights during this interactive session, where you can practice key questions and refine your skills during the masterclass. ☐ You'll also learn about HSBC's Head Start programme. This is a fantastic opportunity with HSBC that will run in summer that not only demystifies banking but also empowers you to make informed decisions about your business line preferences for in-person work experience, with the added perk of fast-tracking to a summer internship. ☐ And that's not all! You'll also hear from a recent insight program participant, providing you with a firsthand look at the application process and their experience. ✨

The session is led by Soraya, who is part of HSBC's Emerging Talent Recruitment Team. During the session, Soraya will tell you all about HSBC's various insight programmes and will walk you through how to make a competitive application. She will explain their strength-based approach to recruitment, what to expect from the application and selection process, how to prepare and some application dos and don’ts.

The session is led by one of HSBC's graduate recruiters who will share their top hints and tips with you to help you prepare and succeed in their selection process.
