Want to get your foot in the door at a global law firm without necessarily needing a law degree?

Perkins Coie's London office is opening up its Legal Business Analyst (LBA) Programme, and they're after final-year students and grads from any degree background who are sharp, organised and curious about how the legal and business world actually works.

⚖️ About the role As a Legal Business Analyst, you won't be stuck doing one thing. You'll rotate across fee-earning work, day-to-day operations and business development — supporting associates, partners and business teams across the firm. One week you might be conducting legal research and helping draft documents, the next you could be creating social media content, writing blog or podcast material, or getting stuck into finance and business projects that help grow the London office.

🚀 What you'll get out of it This is proper hands-on exposure to multiple sides of a law firm — perfect if you want to figure out where your strengths lie before committing to one path. You'll build real skills in research, analysis, communication and project management, all while working alongside experienced legal and business professionals.

🔍 What they're looking for
  • On track for (or already achieved) a 2:1 at degree level — any discipline welcome
  • AAB at A-Level or equivalent (got mitigating circumstances affecting your grades? Pop them in your CV)
  • Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote) and Adobe
  • Strong attention to detail, great written and spoken communication, and solid organisation
  • Able to juggle multiple deadlines, work in a team and independently, and handle confidential info with care
  • Bonus points for a genuine interest in law or business — including corporate/transactional terms and financial info

  • Based in the London office (on-site - this one's not remote)
  • Start date: 15 September 2026
  • You'll need UK work authorisation
