Ever wondered what it's like to work on the tech behind Snapchat and AR glasses that are literally changing the way people see the world? This summer, Snap Inc. is offering a 13-week Machine Learning Engineering Internship in their London office - and it's a good one!

You'll be embedded in the Spectacles AR engineering team, working on the cutting-edge systems that power intelligent augmented reality experiences. Think scene understanding, 3D reconstruction, computer vision, and visual localisation.

🚀 What you'll be working on:
  • Develop and evaluate machine learning models for computer vision and multimodal understanding using Python and modern deep learning frameworks
  • Contribute to projects in geometric scene understanding, 3D reconstruction, semantic scene understanding, and visual localisation
  • Explore how scene understanding connects to language for richer, more meaningful AR interactions
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated mentor and teammates across the Spectacles software team
  • Integrate your work into real, production-facing systems — this isn't busywork, it's the real thing

✅ You'll need to be:
  • Currently enrolled in a BS or MS programme in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • On track to graduate no sooner than December 2026 (graduating between December 2026 and Spring 2027 is ideal)
  • Available to start in-office in May or June 2026

✍️You'll also need:
  • Strong computer science fundamentals and solid Python skills
  • Familiarity with at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX)
  • Knowledge of core ML concepts, plus experience in at least one of: Computer Vision or Natural Language / LLMs
  • The ability to work confidently in a Linux-based environment
